Read below about a video to make you smile!
Since I last wrote to you, it's been a busy few weeks. Our production company has been busy editing down the footage filmed on our recent visit to Hannover. This will shortly be made available via an industry-wide online distribution platform to all TV broadcasters and website operators.
In addition to Derby County going public in support of safe standing after fan Nick Webster's visit with us to Hannover, Peterborough United have now followed suit - and are even offering London Road (officially the most popular ground in the Football League for visitng fans - no doubt due to the standing) as a trial site for rail seats.
One further visitor to Hannover in June was Peter Burrow, Peterborough's giant rabbit mascot, who plays a starring role in 'Peter Burrow's Dilemma', a silent movie that highlights how the status quo means that fans are standing in unsafe environments, i.e. behind low-backed seats, with other spectators sometimes being inconvenienced and friction generated with stewards, while highlighting how simple it would be to avoid all of this by providing safe standing accommodation for fans - and giant rabbits - who prefer to stand.
If nothing else, I hope the video brings a smile to your face - perhaps you'd be kind enough to share it?
Cheers,
Jon Darch
