PODS Online Christmas Craft Family Groups Join us for one of our PODS Online Christmas Craft Family Groups, where we will be making Christmas Wreaths along with the usual catch-up. PODS will be providing all the required craft materials to the members who book for this Group. The participants will need a pair of scissors and some glue (hot glue preferably but not necessary). Places are limited and costs £2.50. Booking is essential. Zoom details will be sent to the participants. They realise that not everyone will be able to visit Santa Claus this year at a grotto or at the Victorian Christmas Weekends at Blists Hill Victorian Town. In response, they’ve launched "Message from Santa", where people can order a bespoke personalised film message from Santa for their child/children or loved one (of any age!). It’s an exclusive limited offer that will be a lovely Christmas keepsake. All funds raised will go towards their, Keep Ironbridge Running, fundraising campaign during their closure and help them with funding the ongoing heritage conservation projects and Education Programme for children and local families. We are delighted to announce that our long-awaited Cookbook has arrived and looks amazing. Inside is many family favourite recipes along with some fantastic new ones to try. We hope you all enjoy making the recipes and spending some quality time together. PODS Lockdown Support Here at PODS our members are our top priority during the Lockdown. We have worked hard and come up with a support package so we can provide help where it is needed. Lockdown can be a lonely and isolating time, we are offering a telephone call service to all our members. A trained member of staff or befriender can keep in regular contact with you to break that isolation and give you the opportunity for a friendly chat. PODS Family Groups PLEASE NOTE: Due to the lockdown, all Family Groups are under review and we will be giving updates throughout the lockdown. In the meantine we will continue with our COVID virtual family groups, keeping people connected, sharing updates, experiences, asking questions and mutual support. We hope you will join us soon, we're all learning this new way of getting together again, whilst combating isolation. Family groups will be run virtually throughout the month, please watch out for dates on our Events tab on Facebook or in our weekly Ebulletins, where you will also find the Zoom log in details for the virtual family groups.
