...only feedback
So...
There's no failure, only feedback
This is a really key mindset to get your head around and can make a MASSIVE difference to your own outcomes.
On the way to inventing the electric lightbulb Edison had many "failed" attempts (depending who you read it was anywhere upwards from 200, but we'll use that figure for our purposes today). A journalist apparently asked him "what made you carry on when you'd failed 200 times?". Edison's reply was interesting: "I didn't fail once! ...but I did find 200 ways not to make a light bulb"
It links to the way our minds work. Our unconscious mind will look out for the things that we have told it are important to us, so if we label something a failure then it stops looking for solutions. However if we say to ourself "that didn't work, I wonder how else I could do this?", the unconscious mind will go on looking for opportunities. We also feel motivated because we're accepting that there could be a way to achieve whatever our goal is.
So, for this month, if you're strugging to do something or getting frustrated, take a step back and ask yourself "how else could I achieve this".
Next month we'll expand on the theme further and I'll give you some more strategies to get more of what you want
Wishing you happiness and success.
